Seen it so many times, but as 4 episodes, coming off the back of what has gone previously, the show is hitting an almighty peak. This is perfect. I think the end is fine, it's plausible enough. The production values are so high under Hinchcliffe, a huge leap, makes it look as though Letts and Dicks were satisfied too easily. This is so scary. The Mummies are amazing, the pace is relentless. One of Simpson's best, music stopped being good after Horns of Nimon, that's it for me. Best story so far. Everything about this story has already been said. From his opening shot this is the ultimate Brooding 4th Doctor, and it's also one of Sarah Jane's very best outings.
