This is a golden period for the show, I feel it reaches a peak in 1977. I personally like end of episode 4 as it's quite shocking, genuinely. The overall story is pretty sound, but some of the acting and sets are a bit iffy, but this might have worked I black and white in season 6. Music is awful. Stubbs northern accent is a bit dodgy but I like the two characters. Doctor..Who did you say? is classic at the end. I had no idea Ky was Biggs in Star Wars. Worst story since Space Pirates and Underwater Menace before that. Do remember 6 years earlier they made The Gunfighters.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5386390949828958591.post-23195270749336073862017-03-21T10:50:07.993-07:002017-03-21T10:50:07.993-07:00I have to admit I do enjoy The Mutants in a "...I have to admit I do enjoy The Mutants in a "so bad it's good" kind of way. The villain is ridiculously villainous, the supporting cast is (largely) awful, the plot is pitiful, and Pertwee and Manning look like they can't wait for the whole affair to be over. It'll never be a classic in my book, but it's contender for 'Best of the Worst' award.David Pirtlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00636601389899125100noreply@blogger.com
