1) The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances - Putting Steven
Moffat's name on the map
2) Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways - Whacky, dark,
emotional and climactic
3) The End of the World - The story that convinced me the
new series would be fantastic
4) Aliens of London/World War Three - No I'm not crazy, I
love it
5) Boom Town - A unique experience, character drama over
plot
6) The Unquiet Dead - A beautiful Christmas ghost story
7) Dalek - Macho and exciting but I wasn't sure about the
limp conclusion
8) Rose - A duff plot but lots of excellent work around the
new Doctor
9) The Long Game - Not as bad as people make out but
unambitious
Not reviewed yet...
10) Father's Day - Just about everything I don't want Doctor
Who to be...

Jubilee was a thousand times better than Dalek.
Moffat episodes were great under RTD showrunning.
I wonder in what direction will Chibnall take the show...
Wacky is not spelled with a h!!
Here's to series one! Series 1-2 are still my favorites. It might not reinvent the wheel, but passes the time more amiably than [fill in the blank].
Long Game is almost an 80s serial squashed into one episode, isn't it? RTD pulls off a remake of Varos and vindicates Colin to a degree. That really tickled me at the time.
Phil, it is in my world.
Ed, I really must get around to reviewing it. It's a bizarre one for sure. Thanks for the many comments, I know I don't often answer but I read every one and even if I don't always agree they are always interesting and thought provoking.
I like when the comments section becomes like a DW forum. I don't like Gallifrey Base and they closed the BF forums which I loved, so I'm usually hanging out here in Doc oho's reviews ^^
@Lisa
The BF forum lives, in the form of the Divergent Universe! Most of the old regulars are there, and some of the Big Finish employees have made the leap as well (e.g. John Dorney, Rob Morris.)

I look forward to your review of The Long Game. Have you watched MrTARDIS? He's reviewed all of Series 1 and he's a brilliant reviewer. Maybe before you put down your review of The Long Game you should watch his review.
